The Walking Dead.....

Hello my dear friends: I know most of you have heard of this TV. show, I'm not fond of it but it has a huge audience, I'm sure they don't miss little old me not watching it, but I couldn't resist giving my post this title since I have one of this creatures walking around on my card. I'm linking this card to a few challenges at the end of this post.

This is another awesome stamp from Kraftin Kimmie, this one is called Mitzi the Mummy. I stamped her onto Canson water color paper with Versafine black ink and clear heat embossed it.  I colored her with SU markers and an aqua painter. The pattern paper on the top is the last bit I have from a retired SU collection, the spider one is from my stash. The sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Witching you a Happy Halloween".

This fabulous image is from a retired SU set called "Dark and Dreary", I've always thought those gates look so darn creepy. The little bats are from Kraftin Kimme too.

Bewitched!!!!!

Hello everybody: Halloween is just around the corner so I've been busy making cards for family and friends. I made this card with a Whipper Snapper stamp I've had for a while now called Hitching a Ride.
I'm linking this card to a few challenges at the end of this post.

Isn't she a sight? and her poor stowaway kitty is hanging on for dear life!! just such a fun image!!!
I have realized I don't have any Halloween pattern paper left so I need to remedy that soon but I was lucky to find this piece of Vellum in my stash and I thought it would work great since this fancy lady's dress is purple. I stamped the image onto Canson water color paper with Stazon black in and colored it with SU markers and some neon color paints I have. The sky was sponged with black Memento ink, the moon was sponged with white craft ink and I added a bit of black then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
The ribbons are from my stash, the sentiment from a retired Flourishes set called "Witching You a Happy Halloween"

A Cup of Thanks.....

Hello everybody: I had some free time today so I created this simple card with a stamp set from Heritage Farms that I haven't used in a long while.
The Addicted to CAS Code Word is COFFEE and I used the CAS Colours and Sketches Sketch to create my card.

I stamped the image onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock with Stazon black ink and colored it with SU markers and the aqua painter. I was amazed at how great the card stock held on to the colors although I didn't use a lot of water, my aqua painter was just damp.
The sentiment and coffee beans are from a retired Flourishes set called "Grab a Cup"

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment is from the Flourishes set and the creamer and sugar bowl from the Heritage Farms set.

Hey Ghoulfriend!!!!!

Hello everyone: It's time for another fun challenge over at SHOPPING OUR STASH and, with Halloween just around the corner we thought we'll give you a chance to get some fun and spooky cards ready for family and friends.  Here is my card made with one of my favorite Kraftin Kimmie stamps that has been in my stash for years.

I really dug deep into my very slim stash of Halloween papers and found this piece with the bats from a retired SU collection that was perfect for my layout. The image is stamped onto Canva water color paper and colored with this neon paints I also have had like forever.
The fun punch is ancient too, bought at my local craft store for a couple of dollars on the bargain bin, there is no label on this old punch, all it says is "PUNCH + EMBOSS", I added some Rhine Stones in neon green and purple for a bit of bling.

Here is a picture of the finished inside of my card.

The sentiment and the spider web have been in my Halloween stash for a looooong time, the little spider is from a new set from SU called BITE ME!

Miss Batty Princess.....

Hello everyone: Some time ago I discovered the Kraftin Kimmie stamps and I really love them, one of my favorites from my stash is called "Batty Princess", unfortunately, I think it might be discontinued, I couldn't find it at their on line store. Here is my card, which I will enter in a few challenges at the end of this post.

One of the challenges called Daring Cardmakers theme is "Seriously Monochromatic" so I colored my image using only the black Prismacolor pencil and a paper stump dipped in baby oil. If you want to find out about this super easy and fun technique, check out THIS VIDEO.
The image is stamped with Versafine black ink, no other colors were added, I just placed a teeny, tiny Rhine Stone on her necklace.

Here I used a combination of images, the big spider web is from SU BITE ME! which is on sale right now and it's fabulous. The sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Witching You a Happy Halloween" and the tomb stone and ghost are from Kraftin Kimmie.
