Power Poppy/Mojo Monday.....

Hello everyone: I've been absent for a while due to some family stuff going on.  First, my dear hubby was on a 2+ week vacation, that is fine and dandy except for the fact that I really can't concentrate all that much with him wanting me to sit and watch Soccer games, movies, having a late breakfast, etc.  My going to the YMCA was also affected a little, but now, he is back at work and I finally have some free time to do what I love.....swim, bike, run, stamp and, last but definitely not least, blogging. I do miss this a lot so, here I am, participating in 2 fun challenges.....Mojo Monday and the Power Poppy Pop of Pastel Challenge that started on April 3rd.

So, here is my card, I hope you like it, I thank you so much for visiting and for your comments, I appreciate every word, you always make my day.

The image is from Power Poppy's Short Stacks stamp set, which is simply amazing and lovely.  I die cut the image using SU Labels Collection dies.  The DSP is from Lily of the Valley and it's called Bonnets and Bowties, I chose this design because of the Tulips on the image, I thought it would look really beautiful. The ribbon and small pieces of Card Stock are from my stash, collected over the years from all over.
I colored my image using my SU markers, I just love how this markers work so fabulously with the Aqua Painters for a beautiful water color look.
This are the markers I used for this image:
Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose and Melon Mambo.
Bashful Blue and Tempting Turquoise.
Certainly Celery and Wild Wasabi.
                                        More Mustard and Sahara Sand.
I also used Baked Brown Sugar and Hello Honey ink pads to color the cup cake.  The butterfly was punched with the Small Butterfly Punch and I made the banners using the Hexagon Punch, this is really easy and they always look perfect.
Again, thank you so much for visiting, till next time.
Maria.
