A little green cutie for PPA.....

Hello everyone: This card is my first attempt at a color challenge with the PPA. I thinks this colors are perfect for St. Patrick's Day, which is just around the corner but, I do not own any stamps with images of Leprechauns or clovers, I only have a couple of sentiments that simply say, "Happy St. Patrick's Day"   What I do have is this little baby Dragon that found itself abandoned along with about 20+ more delightful, amazing, gorgeous images of Faeries at a thrift store.  My aunt knows I love stamping and she also knows I love Faeries so, for about $10.00 she bought the whole lot of dirty, stained, un-mounted red rubber stamps and gave them to me.  I couldn't see very well the images, they were dusty and dirty so I grabbed a bucket, filled it with warm soapy water and placed all the stamps in there and left them soaking overnight. The next day, I scrubbed each one of them with a brush and set them to dry on paper towels. There was no label about what stamp company made them so, I kind of looked around with no luck so I just let it go.
About a month ago, I was just browsing on Pinterest and found a card made with one of the images I have so I went to that persons blog and found out that this images are made by a company named Sweet Pea Stamps  It took me a few minutes to find some of my images and I really was blown away by their beauty.
Here is a close up of this sweet little Dragon, with it's feathery wings, shimmering with a bit of Wink of Stella.
And here is the PPA color challenge picture

I hope you enjoyed a bit of whimsy with my card, I appreciate so very much your visit to my blog and your comments. They truly make my day!!
Till next time, keep on stamping.

A Stencil Challenge.....

Hello everyone, today I'm participating in a challenge over at LiveLoveCards .
The owner of this blog is a dear friend named Darlene De Vries, whom I've been following for many years now, she has an amazing talent to create beautiful, whimsical and totally delightful cards using all kinds of products and techniques, to inspire and teach all of us who are lucky to visit her blog.
When she posted this challenge yesterday I immediately wanted to participate, I knew I had a few stencils somewhere in this room so, without any delay, I went hunting for them. I found the one I used on this card and, without any hesitation, I sponged the images on my white panel with Wild Wasabi ink.
The cute images on this card are from a Power Poppy stamp set called "Sassy Succulents", I used SU markers to color them in Wild Wasabi, Cajun Craze, Night of Navy and a bit of Mossy Meadow from my ink pad.
So this is my entry for this challenge, thank you so much for visiting my blog, I truly appreciate your comments and support.
Till next time, lots of hugs.
Maria.
