Come for Tea.....

Hello everyone: The other day, my almost 19 year old granddaughter Vanessa, gifted me with some gorgeous rubber stamps she found at the craft store, she said they were in the sale section and, as soon as she saw them, she thought of me and how much I would like them. Well, she was right, they are all so beautiful, I told her they are the kind of images I love. There's 5 individual stamps and one set of 3, this is the set I used for today's card, I will link it to a few challenges at the end of this post.

I stamped the gorgeous tea pot with Dove Gray Stazon ink, I just added a bit of silver gel pen and colored it with my Wink of Stella for added shimmer. The cups and saucers were stamped with black Stazon ink and colored lightly with SU markers and an aqua painter.
The sentiment is from a set from Cornish Heritage Farms (discontinued) called "The Cafe", the pattern paper is from a retired line from Lili of the Valley and the little charm from my stash.

Teeny, Tiny.....

Hello everyone: Well, yesterday I had a hard time dealing with the PC in my craft room, it was just doing all kinds of weird stuff, non of which I understood, making me totally crazy, I hate not knowing what's wrong and how to fix it.  My daughter Adriana, who lives next door, came to try to help me, she fiddled with it for a while but she couldn't figure out what to do either so, I decided to take it to the shop, this guys are awesome but, as you can see, this old gal is fine now, so there was no need to disconnect it to take it anywhere, I honestly do not know what happened or how it got fixed, all I know is that I'm totally happy that it's working again.
So, here is a card that I just finished and I will link it up to The Paper Players, who gave me the idea and inspiration plus a few more challenges at the end of this post.

This sweet image of baby booties is from All Night Media by Susan Branch. I stamped it onto a die cut piece of Strathmore mixed media paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with Antique Linen distress ink, the shoelaces are colored with a Prismacolor pencil.
The little sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Hello Baby", ribbon from my stash.

Sweet clothes line.....

Hello everyone: First let me apologize for not having my water mark on my card, my PC is misbehaving, ughhh!! I don't like not knowing what's wrong, I'm going to take it to the shop later today, I'm sure this guys will debug it, or clean it, or medicate it and she will be as good as new, hopefully soon.

Now, the card I'm sharing with you today was inspired by Jenni Murray, who is the Muse for the Muse Challenge #208.  This is her card that inspired mine. I will link my card to a few more challenges at the end of this post.

Here is my card.

As soon as I saw Jenni's card, my mind flew to this adorable image from a retired Flourishes set called "Hello Baby".   I stamped it with Stazon black ink onto a panel of Strathmore mixed media paper and colored it with SU markers and an aqua painter. I sponged the sky and grass with Tumbled Glass and Peel paint, the sentiment is from the set.

Wilderness Awaits.....

Hello everyone: It's time for another challenge over at SHOPPING OUR STASH, in this challenge we would love to see you make a card that has Friends from the Forest, you know? wild birds, foxes, bears, deer, fish, etc. Here is the card I made with one of my favorite Stampin' Up! sets called "The Wilderness Awaits".

This amazing set came out in the 2015-2016 catalog and, as soon as I saw it, I wanted it immediately. This is a gorgeous set for Masculine cards, all of the images are perfect for the guys.
I stamped my fox onto a die cut piece of Strathmore mixed media paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with SU markers, an aqua painter and Prismacolor pencils for shadows and highlights.
The little wild flowers and the tall grasses in the back are from a set from Art Impressions.
The leaves are from a retired SU set called "Gently Falling" from the 2011-2012 Holiday Mini, which I've neglected for about a year, (for shame!!!😟), I love the realistic look of this stamps.
The background was embossed with the retired SU "Woodland" Textured Embossing Folder.

The Sentiment is from a retired Flourishes set called "Around the Harbor", the leaf from "Gently Falling".
