The little red moped.....

Hello everyone: It's time for a new challenge over at the RETRO RUBBER challenge blog, this time it's all about TRANSPORTATION, whether by plane, ship, card, bus, bike, get the picture, right?  So get crafty and share your TRANSPORTATION creations in our gallery, here is a card I made with one of my favorite retired stamp sets from Stampin' Up! called "On the Grow", this set came in the 2011 Summer Mini.

I wish I had one little moped exactly this color, you can picture me on one, can you?
I stamped this image onto a panel of water color paper with Stazon black ink and colored it with water colors and my Wink of Stella, hope you can see the sweet sparkle on this bike.
The pattern papers are from my cherished stash of Lili of the Valley, I treasure this paper because it's discontinued, sigh!!čś×

The sentiment is from a Power Poppy set called Sassy Succulents, I just stamped the back of the little bike to make it look like it's leaving but, it has no driver so, I'm guessing she is just walking beside it to go to the next store.
Thank you for stopping by, I always read every single comment you so kindly leave on my posts, I want you to know I appreciate them more than words can express.
Until next time, happy stamping.
Hugs from Maria.

  1. Yes I can see you on this Maria. Vroooom Vroooom. How adorable! I too have this set. It is buried in my old stash. Thanks for bringing it back to life. Love your DSP.

  2. How the way you stamped the inside too!
    well done mf
    xx Karen

  3. So sweet. As always, your color are always so bright and cheery. <3

  4. Te he! What an adorable card! I must agree the inside is very clever! Beautiful coloring here!

  5. What a super scooter! And I really like how it's scootered itself off the page on the inside too. It's a cheerful and cheering card, Maria.

  6. I love the scooter and wish I had that stamp set! Your coloring is wonderful as always. I had a little laugh reading how you imagine what motorcycle was doing there. I have difficulty suspending my sense of reality for my cards and glad to see I am not alone! LOL

  7. What a sweet card, the colors and floral paper are perfect for the scooter with the basket of flowers image.
